BMW Rear-Ends Pickup, Worker Standing by Roadside Fatally Crushed

At 2:00 AM on February 6, 2024, police investigated a severe collision on the old Sukhumvit Road heading towards Khlong Dan in Bang Pakong District, Chachoengsao Province. A white BMW violently rear-ended a black pickup truck carrying signs, causing a fatal accident. The victim, a 36-year-old Myanmar national, was standing at the rear of the pickup and was brutally struck, with his body parts scattered across the accident scene. The pickup truck driver, Boon Ting, 49, was also injured in the crash. The BMW driver, Visarut, 45, appeared to be potentially intoxicated and was taken to the hospital for blood alcohol testing. Police documented the scene and will conduct further investigations to determine the exact cause of the fatal accident.
