Temple monks and a lawyer held a press conference on behalf of Wat Pa Chana Jai regarding an alleged land encroachment of over 2,000 rai and house sales for 500,000 baht each. They insisted that Kru Ba Chaiyawat was genuinely ill, not avoiding media, after a perplexing press conference where he was intensely questioned before abruptly ending the event. At the press conference, held at Wat Pa Chana Jai in Saraburi province, temple representatives explained that the temple initially received 13 rai from villagers and argued that becoming a monk, even for one day, establishes one's religious status. The lawyer stated they would plant trees back if found to have violated regulations and asked for understanding of the foundation's intentions.
