3 Teenagers Making Content Capsize Boat While Photographing Lotus Flowers, One Dies, Two Survive

On February 1st, rescue volunteers from Huk 31 Nakhon Ratchasima were alerted about a missing person underwater near Ban Bueng Phra village. The missing person, Naphath, 19, was boating with two friends in a large reservoir filled with blooming lotus flowers. The teenagers were attempting to create content and take photographs when their boat capsized. Two friends successfully swam to shore, but Naphath drowned. Rescue divers located his body at the bottom of the reservoir, recovering him amid the grief of family and friends. Local police expressed condolences and warned about potential water-related accidents.
