Shock: Election Equipment Dumped in Abandoned Trash Site, Locals Report to Police

At 4:00 PM on February 13, 2024, local residents reported finding election equipment carelessly dumped in an abandoned area in Moo 10, Nai Khlong Bang Pla Kot Subdistrict, Phra Samut Chedi District, Samut Prakan Province. The approximately one-acre trash site contained various discarded materials including tree branches, furniture, and extensive election-related equipment. Discovered items included boundary markers, voting booth vinyl signs, used and unused cable ties, Election Commission staff ID badges, vote counting sheets, and numerous other election management materials. Initially, the discoverer brought some documents to Phra Samut Chedi Police Station, including voter lists, official election documents, to request an investigation. The police will need to verify the evidence by conducting a further on-site examination.
