Bum Panadda Frustrated as Foundation Bank Account Blocked by Scammers Who Exploit Charity Donations

On February 16, 2024, Dr. Panadda Wongphoodee's Facebook page, belonging to the beauty queen, actress, presenter, and president of the Good Deeds Organization, released a 27-minute video explaining the situation. Bum Panadda revealed that her organization's Kasikorn Bank account was blocked by bank officials after scammers used the account to post fraudulent donation requests. When people transferred money, the scammers would invite victims to Line groups and send links, ultimately stealing all their funds. Victims filed a police report at Laem Chabang Police Station, with initial transfers totaling around 4,800 baht. The scammers exploited the Good Deeds Organization's account, pretending to be charitable while systematically deceiving people. Panadda emphasized the complicated process of unblocking accounts and the significant disruption this causes, especially for ordinary citizens.
