Fatal Truck Accident: 20-Year-Old Woman Killed After 18-Wheel Truck Runs Her Over

A tragic accident occurred when an 18-wheel truck transporting asphalt for road work ran over a 20-year-old woman, killing her instantly. At 10:30 AM on February 10, 2026, Police Lieutenant Adulay Decho Suwanarin from Sung Men Police Station was notified of the fatal accident on the irrigation canal road in Moo 6, Hua Fai Subdistrict, Sung Men District. The scene was a two-lane road alongside an irrigation canal, where an 18-wheel truck from Uttaradit province was parked, with a Honda motorcycle from Phrae province overturned near its left rear wheel. The young woman's body was found underneath the truck. Local residents noted that trucks frequently travel this road to deliver asphalt for road construction and often make U-turns at this straight section, leading to multiple previous accidents. However, this incident was the most severe, resulting in a fatality. Authorities transported the victim's body to the hospital and took the driver into custody for legal proceedings.
