Election Commission Confirms No Impact on Vote Tallies After Election Documents Found in Trash

The EC stated that these were documents used at polling stations, which had already been completely processed and vote counts reported, therefore not affecting election integrity. However, the documents are currently under investigation to determine how they ended up in the trash, with the EC promising to examine any potential irregularities and take legal action. Locals were shocked to find election equipment discarded in an abandoned area and brought evidence to file a report.
