The Thailand Selects Pee-Wee youth ice hockey team is getting ready to enter the global ice hockey arena, seeking to gain experience and bring Thai hockey to the world's attention. This is a historic first for the team, participating in the 66th Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament for players under 13 years old in Canada. The team will compete from February 11-22, 2024, at the Videotron Centre and Pavillon Guy-Lafleur, being the 39th team in the AA Division among 30 global teams from countries like Canada, USA, UK, Austria, Romania, Lithuania, South Korea, and Hong Kong. The tournament typically attracts over 200,000 spectators, with the final match drawing up to 16,000 live audience members. The team is led by Coach Boss-Thanaphat Surasiriratanasin, with 14 players selected from top Thai hockey clubs, representing a significant milestone for Thai youth sports on the international stage.
