Surachai Nuphrom, Deputy Managing Director of Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (AEROTHAI), revealed that air travel in Thailand has been continuously rebounding since February 10th, with an average of 2,895 daily flights, a 7% increase. Some days have even exceeded 3,000 flights per day. The trend indicates growing travel demand leading into the Chinese New Year holiday period from February 17-26, with an estimated total of 29,096 flights over 10 days. International routes show Thailand-China as the busiest, averaging around 330 daily flights, followed by Thailand-India with 130 flights and Thailand-Malaysia with 98 flights. Major airports like Suvarnabhumi will handle an average of 1,150 daily flights, Don Mueang 700, Phuket 380, and Chiang Mai 220, demonstrating continued confidence in international travel. AEROTHAI has prepared comprehensive air traffic management measures, coordinating with all relevant agencies to ensure efficient and safe flight operations during the peak period.
