Father Reveals Cause of 'L's Conflict: What Led to His Rampage

A shocking incident unfolded in Lat Lum Kaeo District, Pathum Thani, where Nopparat (nicknamed 'L') shot at rescue workers on Highway 7 in Chonburi before fleeing to his hometown with a weapon. The incident was so serious that 40 schools were closed for student safety. On February 18, 2024, Nopparat's 60-year-old father gave an interview, expressing deep regret. He explained that his son was normally hardworking and calm, but had ongoing marital problems. The conflict stemmed from his daughter-in-law's online gambling and alleged financial misconduct, with 1.4 million baht mysteriously disappearing. Additionally, Nopparat discovered his wife was communicating inappropriately with another man, which pushed him over the edge. The father believes his son will eventually surrender and that this extreme behavior is completely out of character.
