Established on June 13, 1986, it is part of the Thammayut Nikaya monastic order and has a clear founding history. The temple received royal consecration on May 15, 1996 and was approved by the Buddhist Sangha Council as the 4th Dharma Practice Center of Chanthaburi Province in 2008, serving as a central hub for religious education and meditation. Visitors traveling to pay respects to the Buddha's Footprint at Khao Khitchakut can conveniently use the route near the PTT gas station in Khao Ta Nok.
