Tragic: Worker Buried Alive in 3-Meter Deep Pit After Landslide
On February 7, 2024, at approximately 3:40 PM, a landslide occurred at a construction site on Kosi Road in Mueang District, Nakhon Sawan Province, about 200 meters from Pom One Bridge. Rescue teams from Nakhon Sawan, the Guan Yu Foundation, local hospital emergency services, and police immediately responded. The worker, around 53 years old, was digging and expanding a 2-3 meter deep hole when the unstable ground suddenly collapsed, burying him completely. Rescue teams quickly retrieved his body in an unconscious state with no pulse and rushed him to Sawanpracharak Hospital. Initial reports indicate the worker was using a shovel to dig the hole when the ground unexpectedly gave way. The latest report confirms the worker has died.
