Pharadorn Thanks Election Commission for Approving 2,203 Million Baht Flood Relief Budget

On February 17, 2026, Pharadorn Prisananantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, expressed gratitude to the Election Commission (EC) for approving additional flood relief budget to help people affected in the lower North, Central, and Southern regions. The 2,203 million baht budget, approved by the Cabinet on January 13, aims to support eligible individuals who were left out in previous registration rounds. The Budget Bureau will transfer funds to the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) at the Ministry of Interior, with expected disbursement to citizens this week. 'I'm glad people won't have to wait for this relief anymore. I want to assure the public that the government prioritizes alleviating people's hardships and is expediting assistance,' Pharadorn stated.
