American Woman Buys 17-Room House in Italy for Less Than a Honda Civic, Undergoes Stunning Renovation
Kiki Leeh, a 28-year-old American woman, decided to buy a luxurious 17-room historic house in Italy after living in Los Angeles for over 15 years. She discovered the property in Mussomeli, Sicily, priced at just 32,000 US dollars (around 1 million baht), which she noted was cheaper than a Honda Civic. Leeh has already invested approximately 94,000 US dollars (around 3 million baht) in renovations and expects to spend another 30,000 US dollars to complete the project. Currently, she splits her time between Sicily, the US, and Canada, with Sicily being her primary home. She describes her new life as challenging but transformative, noting that Sicily teaches her to let go of control and embrace a slower pace of life.
