Suspects Plant Bombs in Two Gas Station Restrooms in Pattani, Fortunately Defused in Time
Suspects planted bombs in two PTT gas station restrooms in Pattani, which were fortunately discovered and defused in time. At 7:30 PM on February 3rd, police were alerted to suspicious objects in the disabled restrooms of two PTT gas stations. The explosives were homemade devices hidden in stainless steel bottles similar to energy drink containers, placed in zip-lock bags with timer detonators. Bomb disposal teams used high-pressure water guns to neutralize the devices at both locations. Investigators believe the perpetrators intended to cause disruption in the 10 days before the upcoming Ramadan month, with the bombs set to detonate around 8 PM on Valentine's Day. Surveillance footage is being reviewed to track down the suspects.
