Hot Amulet News - 'Luang Por Sa-nga' Coin from Nong Muang Temple, Ratchaburi Province
Phra Khru Anurak Worakun, also known as 'Luang Por Sa-nga Anupuppo', was born on March 11, 1926, in Ban Mot Subdistrict, Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province. In his youth, he studied at Ban Mot Temple School, closely associated with monks who taught him various disciplines. After completing fourth grade, he helped his family with farming. As a young man, he was typical of his generation, enjoying time with friends and seeking knowledge of mystical arts. He sought out masters of magical incantations, eventually becoming a disciple and learning various spiritual practices. In 1938, he was ordained as a monk at Ban Mot Temple, receiving the Buddhist name Anupuppo. He became a respected monk at Nong Muang Temple, known for his spiritual prowess and dedication to Buddhist teachings. Luang Por Sa-nga passed away on March 29, 2004, at the age of 88, after a lifetime of spiritual service and creating notable amulets, with his first coin series in 1968 being particularly famous.
