Yossachan Undaunted by Village Heads Supporting Kla Tham Party, Confident of Sweeping Phayao Province
During a press conference on January 31, 2024, at Phayao province, Yossachan Wongswasdi, Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, discussed his party's strong potential in the area. He expressed high confidence in their chances, citing positive responses to their policies and campaign efforts.
Yossachan emphasized that the party's core base is the people, not local administrative leaders. He highlighted key policy platforms including drug suppression, scammer prevention, and tackling online gambling - issues he claims resonate strongly with voters.
Regarding concerns about Thammas Prohmphrae's claim of having support from village heads and local administrators, Yossachan stated that his party will carefully monitor the election process to ensure transparency. He stressed that the Pheu Thai Party will follow legal procedures if any irregularities are detected.
When asked about other parties' campaign strategies, Yossachan maintained that focusing on policy delivery is crucial. He believes people want to understand how their quality of life can improve, and urged all political parties to concentrate on substantive policy communication.
Commenting on Anutin Charnvirakul's nationalist-themed campaign rhetoric, Yossachan confidently stated that voters will understand and interpret each candidate's campaign approach independently.
