Ariya Lok 6 - Luang Por Dit of Wat Pak Sra, Famous Monk from Phatthalung Province

On Saturday, February 21, 2026, a memorial will be held for Luang Por Dit Tissaro (also known as Phra Kru Nekkhammabhimonta) of Wat Pak Sra in Chai Buri, Mueang District, Phatthalung Province. He was a famous and respected monk in Southern Thailand, known for his wisdom and compassion. Born on February 21, 1877, as Dit Nu Thaen, he was ordained at age 21 and became a prominent religious leader who supported education, helped those in need, and created numerous sacred amulets that remain popular to this day. Luang Por Dit passed away peacefully on September 7, 1964, leaving behind a legacy of spiritual guidance and community development.
