Near-Fatal Accident: Ten-Wheel Dump Truck Loses Control and Overturns While Dumping Sand

On February 6, 2024, the Kled Kaew Subdistrict Public Safety and Disaster Prevention Center received an emergency call about a ten-wheel truck that had overturned near the entrance to Wat Khao ChiJan in Sattahip District, Chonburi Province. Rescue teams quickly arrived and carefully extracted the driver, identified as Mr. Somwang Rodpon, who sustained minor injuries. According to Mr. Somwang, he was lifting the dump truck to pour sand when the vehicle suddenly lost balance and toppled over. Police are currently conducting a detailed investigation into the cause of the accident.
