Man in Plaid Shirt Steals 1-Baht Gold Ring from Jewelry Store

At 6:58 PM on February 19, 2024, police in Ubon Ratchathani were alerted to a gold theft at Surat Yaowaraj Gold shop. The store owner reported that a tall man wearing a plaid shirt, black long pants, and a white surgical mask entered the store, pretending to buy a gold ring. He requested to try on a 1-baht gold ring valued at approximately 74,500 baht. Taking advantage of the owner's momentary distraction, the suspect ran out of the store and escaped on a motorcycle. Police are reviewing security camera footage and attempting to track down the suspect, who rode away on a Honda Wave motorcycle with an unidentified license plate.
