Highway Police Arrest Warrant Roundup Enhances Road Safety
Highway Police conducted a coordinated arrest warrant operation across nine Northeastern provinces to improve public safety. Under the leadership of Senior Police Commanders, law enforcement teams targeted 274 outstanding arrest warrants between December 1st, 2568 BE and January 31st, 2569 BE.
Noteworthy cases included arresting scammer networks responsible for investment fraud schemes causing over 100 million baht in damages, capturing transnational bank account networks, and apprehending individuals involved in various criminal activities such as fraud, vehicle scams, drug offenses, and theft.
The operation, averaging 4-5 arrests daily, was distributed across different provincial police units: Nakhon Ratchasima (71 arrests), Ubon Ratchathani (43 arrests), Amnat Charoen (99 arrests), and others. The highway police emphasized their commitment to continuous enforcement and public safety, encouraging citizens to report criminal activities through their 24-hour hotline 1193.
