Songpol Pankaew, Deputy Governor of Lop Buri, expressed great enthusiasm about the cycling event, which attracted over 500 athletes and more than 1,000 followers. He thanked the Cycling Association for choosing the Phatthana Nikhom district as the venue for the first leg of the Thailand Open Championship. The event garnered over 17,000 live views on Facebook and YouTube, totaling 33,000 views over two days. The mountain bike and road cycling championship, under the royal patronage of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, was held on February 14-15, 2024. Pankaew highlighted the event's potential to boost local economy and tourism, and invited participants to visit the Narai King's Fair happening in the same period.
