Young Mother Dies in Tragic Motorcycle Accident After Losing Control and Being Run Over

On February 14, 2024, Police Lieutenant Chatchawan Sangsawan from Plaeng Yao Police Station was notified of a fatality on Route 3551 near Hua Samrong Subdistrict. At the scene, a Gilano gray motorcycle with license plate 1 กส 9028 was found overturned, with fabric wrapped around its wheel. The victim, Ms. Pattama Cheep Charoen, was found dead on the road, with her intestines exposed and lying in a pool of blood. Firefighter Jirasak Sae-Tiao reported that initial investigations suggest the victim likely lost control of her motorcycle due to fabric entangled in the wheel. She may have fallen and been subsequently run over by a larger vehicle, as her body was dragged over 30 meters. Family members revealed that the victim had left Bang Nam Priao District around 9:00 PM, dropping her child off at her mother's house. She was believed to have been running an errand before the fatal accident. Her mother arrived at the scene and identified her daughter's body, overwhelmed with grief. Authorities will continue to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident.
