King and Queen Perform 100-Day Memorial Ceremony for the Queen Mother
His Majesty the King and Queen arrived at the Dusit Maha Prasad Throne Hall at 10:06 AM on February 1st, 2026. They performed a traditional memorial ceremony for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.
The ceremony involved several sacred rituals, including:
- Lighting incense and candles for royal tributes
- Paying respects to a Buddha image
- Receiving blessings from the Supreme Patriarch
- Offering food to 30 monks
- Presenting ceremonial robes (triumphant)
- Performing water liberation rituals
