Nakhon Ratchasima is experiencing a lively atmosphere for early parliamentary elections in District 8 at the Phimai District Office, with citizens arriving early to exercise their voting rights. Election committee and officials are providing assistance and maintaining peace. As of February 1, 2024 - reporters noted that the early voting location at the Phimai District Office assembly hall for Election District 8 saw registered voters arriving early to check their eligibility and prepare to vote at 08:00. Election District 8 covers Phimai District (excluding Samrith, Chewan, Krabuang Yai, and Tha Luang subdistricts) and Chum Phuang District (excluding Non Tum and Talad Sai subdistricts). There are 752 voters registered from outside the district and 2 from within the district. The election committee and security personnel inspected ballot boxes and equipment before 08:00, providing guidance on voting procedures and checking voter lists. Police officers were present to ensure safety and maintain order during the election process. For Election District 8, five candidates from different parties are running: Nikorn Somklang (No. 1, Pheu Thai Party), Sura Chorkratoke (No. 2, Economic Party), Sarawut Pimlamard (No. 3, Democrat Party), Peerakan Wisetjindawat (No. 4, Bhumjaithai Party), and Satra Nakratoke (No. 5, People's Party).
