Highway Police Intercept Human Trafficking Gang, Arrest 3 Thais Smuggling 14 Chinese Nationals

Highway police successfully intercepted a human trafficking operation, arresting three Thai suspects - Chakraphon (44), Jirawat (21), and Krisda (44) - who were transporting 14 Chinese nationals without proper documentation. The suspects were caught on Highway Road near Saraburi Province while driving a white Chevrolet Trailblazer and a Toyota van. During interrogation, the suspects admitted they were contacted by a Laotian named 'Tam' via Facebook to transport the Chinese nationals from Ubon Ratchathani to Ayutthaya, receiving 5,000 baht per person. The 14 Chinese nationals confessed to crossing the Mekong River illegally without travel documents. All suspects were charged and handed over to Saraburi Police Station for further legal proceedings.
