Thai 4-Person Sepak Takraw Team Loses to India, Stops at Semi-Finals
The Thai 4-person sepak takraw team was eliminated in the semi-finals after losing to India. Team manager Police Lieutenant Suebsak Phansue revealed that the young players gained significant international competition experience. The team, consisting of rising stars like "Jab Saifah" Kritsada Sangwang, "Didi Bakharm" Siwakorn Thakanha, "Ball Saifah" Sutthikiat Pansaenkaew, "Om Rachanavee" Lersak Kuramy, "Keng Bakharm" Boonkum Thipwong, and "Ball Bakharm" Sirisak Anulun, competed at the Pre-Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan. The team manager noted that while the Thai team's teamwork might be slightly behind, their individual skills were still impressive. Although they hoped to win the championship, the team's potential in the 4-person format proved challenging. The players reached the semi-finals, which the manager considered a solid performance. Praising the Japanese hosts, he highlighted the excellent management, with two-tier competition venues, four practice courts, and tight security for athletes. He also noted that travel, accommodations, and food were well-organized for the Thai team.
