Risk Fluke, Ratchaburi FC President, Posts After Team Advances in AFC Champions League 2
Thanawat Nitikarnchan, president of Ratchaburi FC, posted a message after the club advanced to the final 8 teams in the AFC Champions League 2 2025/26, thanking Nevin Chidchob, president of Buriram United, for playing advice. The post stated, 'Mission accomplished.. Total score over 2 matches: Ratchaburi FC 3-1 Persib Bandung. Thanks for all the support and care. Ratchaburi FC is the first Thai team to reach the final 8 teams in the AFC Champions League 2. We managed to advance past champions from Vietnamese and Indonesian leagues, despite finishing 4th in our domestic league last season - showing that the Thai League is the best in ASEAN. From the moment we knew we would compete in this prestigious tournament, the image of the Thai flag on our left chest emerged, meaning we would compete as Thailand's representatives. We want fans to remember us as fighters, knowing every moment on the field might be our last on the Asian stage. We cannot be certain we'll return to this tournament next season due to the intense competition in the Thai League. Today, I want all Ratchaburi FC fans to be proud - we have written a new chapter in the history of both our club and Thai football. Let's enjoy every moment together, whether in league or cup matches. P.S. Thank you to the Football Association of Thailand president for showing concern and to the Buriram United president for advice before and during the tournament.'
