Monk Scammed: Ordered Tumblers, Receives Floor Cleaner Instead

NAKHON RATCHASIMA — On February 15, 2026, a temple abbot in northeastern Thailand warned the public about online shopping risks after receiving a bottle of floor cleaner when he ordered insulated tumblers. At Wat Khlong Nok temple in Sikhio district, Phra Nonthawat Sutachitto shared his disappointing experience after purchasing from a Facebook page called 'sale ช็อปราคาคุ้ม'. He paid 300 baht for a cash-on-delivery package that appeared to weigh like two tumblers, but upon opening, found only floor cleaning solution. The abbot urged people to carefully verify sellers and product details before making online purchases.
