Election Commission Chair Monitors Early Voting in Bangkok, Emphasizes Proper Procedure
On February 1st, Narong Glunwarin, Chair of the Election Commission, along with his team, visited polling locations in the Nai Si District and Chandra Kasem Rajabhat University in Bangkok to monitor the early voting process for parliamentary representatives. The purpose was to ensure the election process was carried out with integrity, fairness, and in full compliance with the law. The overall early and out-of-area voting proceeded normally, with a large number of citizens participating. The Election Commission Chair emphasized that polling station officials (กปน.) must perform their duties carefully and legally to prevent potential complaints and maintain confidence in the election process. At the central polling location in Nai Si District, 25,793 people registered for early voting, which is approximately 8,000 more than the early voting turnout in 2023.
