Sacred Buddhist Ceremony: Military Leaders Seek Blessings from Revered Monks for Special Commemorative Amulets
On February 11, 2026, Major General Weera Raksil, the Second Army Region Commander, conducted a sacred ceremony requesting blessings from two powerful Buddhist monks from the Isan region. The purpose was to create a historic commemorative amulet series called 'Yuthabadin-Satawat', which carries deep spiritual meaning and represents military morale. At 10:59 AM, during an auspicious moment, the military leader paid respects to Phra Rajwachrawithayakhom (Phra Ajarn Tom Phasssaro) at Wat Tha Sabang in Roi Et province. He requested sacred inscriptions on gold and silver plates to consecrate the amulets at Wat Pa Suk Watthana. At 1:19 PM, the ceremony continued at Wat Suan Dhamma Piti in Kalasin province, where he paid respects to Phra Rajwatchara Thammosophon (Luang Pu Sila Sirichanto), another renowned monk. Luang Pu Sila inscribed sacred yantra and blessed the military with special prayers. This amulet creation was more than an artistic endeavor; it represented a fusion of faith from two spiritual leaders, symbolizing courage, stability, and sacrifice for border patrol troops and national mission supporters.
