The Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) and the Office of the Boxing Commission held a Muay Thai training course for foreign instructors in Phuket, showcasing international success. On February 3rd, they conducted the Basic Level Muaythai Instructor Course for Foreigners 2025 at Dara Hotel in Phuket, attracting over 100 international participants from both Thailand and abroad, reflecting the popularity and confidence in the SAT-certified Muay Thai curriculum. Natthapol Antasen, Director of the Boxing Commission, stated that the training project aims to elevate Muay Thai standards internationally by focusing on accurate academic knowledge and Thai boxing identity. The course will enable instructors to properly teach Muay Thai skills, training techniques, equipment usage, and competition rules to boxers both domestically and internationally. Theerawat Silparacha, Director of Muay Thai Development, emphasized that the training was organized under the concept of 'Discover. Train. Inspire.', aiming to create a network of standardized international Muay Thai instructors. Over 10 experienced licensed trainers conducted comprehensive theoretical and practical training, with participants receiving certification to professionally promote Muay Thai internationally.
