Surin Heats Up in Election's Final Stretch: Orange Party Campaign Banners Destroyed
In the final stretch of the Member of Parliament elections in Surin province, campaign activities have become intense, with campaign vehicles, banners, and candidate outreach efforts in full swing. In Election District 2, campaign banners from six different political parties—including People's Party, Pheu Thai, Bhumjaithai, Kla Party, Democrat, and Palang Pracharath—were completely destroyed by unknown perpetrators along Highway 214 in Nadi and Khwao Sinrin subdistricts. The People's Party campaign banners were hit hardest, with over 10 banners damaged. Additionally, reports indicate vote-buying is widespread across all 8 election districts, with vote prices ranging from 100-500 baht per person, and some districts seeing prices as high as 800 baht. No official complaints have been filed with the Election Commission of Surin.
