Early Voting 2026 Voting Procedures: Voting Process: 1. Check voter eligibility for out-of-district voting 2. Present identification to officials and sign or fingerprint the voter list 3. Sign or fingerprint the ballot stub, receive two ballots and a ballot envelope 4. Enter voting booth and mark ballot correctly 5. Fold ballot and seal it in the envelope 6. Personally deposit the sealed envelope in the ballot box Important Restrictions: - Alcohol sales are prohibited from 6:00 PM on January 31st to 6:00 PM on February 1st - Violation punishable by up to 6 months in prison or a 10,000 baht fine - Candidates cannot provide free transportation to voters - Violation punishable by 1-10 years in prison or 20,000-200,000 baht fine - Employers cannot obstruct employees' voting rights - Violation punishable by up to 2 years in prison or 40,000 baht fine - No campaign materials, vehicles with campaign signs, or campaign stages near polling centers - No campaigning near or inside voting centers Acceptable Identification: - Citizen ID card (even if expired) - Government-issued photo ID with citizen number - Official cards (civil servant ID, driver's license, passport) - Digital state application IDs (ThaiD, DLT QR License, Disability Digital Card)
