Newin is preparing to negotiate with Thammanat about the Agriculture Ministry, with plans to shift the Kla Thamm party to opposition if the deal falls through. As of February 15, 2024, Bhumjaithai Party has officially consolidated 276 parliamentary seats, including 193 from their own party, 74 from Pheu Thai Party, 3 from the Economic Party, and 6 seats from smaller parties. The party is also seeking to bring Kla Thamm into their coalition, offering the Agriculture Ministry as an incentive.
