Former Soldier Dies in Police Detention After Assaulting Girlfriend

A former soldier died in theMin Buri Police Station detention room after being arrested late at night for repeatedly assaulting his girlfriend 4 times, causing serious injuries. Police from Nakhon Ban investigated and arrested Pornvisanu, who was wanted for theft and arson, at a convenience store in Rom Klao Soi 21 at 01:33 AM. Around 05:55 AM, Pornvisanu reportedly committed suicide in the police station's holding cell. Forensic officers and medical personnel later investigated the scene, finding his body lying naked except for underwear, with bruises around his neck and other injuries consistent with previous motorcycle accident wounds.
