Nong Nooch Garden Creates Once-in-a-Lifetime Wedding Experience on Elephant Backs
Nong Nooch Garden in Chonburi Province is hosting a memorable 'Marriage Registration on Elephant Backs' event to celebrate Valentine's Day on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 9:00 AM. The event will create a romantic atmosphere for Thai and international couples to start their married life in one of the world's most beautiful gardens. Camphol Tansajja, president of Nong Nooch Pattaya, assigned Patthanant Khantisukpan, the garden's general manager, to organize the event. Naris Niramaiwong, the Chonburi provincial governor, will preside over the opening ceremony, with Nattawut Anuyotha, the district head, facilitating the marriage registrations. The highlight of the event is a grand wedding procession featuring 9 couples riding on 9 elephants, moving elegantly amid over 100 performers from Nong Nooch Garden. Over 100 participants have registered for this year's event, with marriages registered under equal marriage laws, reflecting Thailand's open and inclusive society. Nong Nooch Garden is creating an event that blends love, culture, and quality tourism, showcasing Thailand's soft power through traditional cultural elements, Thai elephants, performing arts, and the beauty of a world-class botanical garden. Couples who register will receive free admission to the 1,700-rai garden, featuring over 60 beautiful gardens, an elephant ride for their marriage registration, and a commemorative lucky plant.
