Dramatic 70 km Chase: Drug Network Bust in Chonburi Nets 4.1 kg of Crystal Meth

Police conducted a dramatic chase and arrest of Anuchit, a 42-year-old drug network member from Banglang, Si Racha District, Chonburi Province. Led by Police Colonel Sarawut Nuchnart and his team, they pursued the suspect for over 70 kilometers before capturing him with 4,135 grams of crystal meth and 1,000 grams of ketamine, valued at approximately 1.2 million baht. The suspect was caught during a sting operation after police learned of his drug distribution activities. During the pursuit, Anuchit attempted to evade capture by driving on the motorway before being cornered. Upon arrest and home search, additional drugs were found. When confronted, the suspect admitted to drug distribution, claiming he did so to support his 5 children due to financial difficulties.
