Cars Collide, Crash into Walking Monk, Killing Him on the Road

At 5:28 AM on February 21, 2024, police from Tha Muang Police Station were alerted to a car collision that resulted in a monk being fatally struck. The incident occurred near a gas station in Tha Muang District, Kanchanaburi Province. At the scene, two badly damaged cars were found, and nearby, the body of an unidentified monk was discovered. The monk was walking for alms when he was suddenly struck by cars that had collided, killing him instantly. One injured person,Kriangwit, 25 years old, was found with bruises and chest pain and was rushed to Makarak Hospital. Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the collision and interviewing those involved to determine the legal proceedings.
