Authorities Bust Warehouse, Seize 2,000 Counterfeit Tires Worth 10 Million Baht

On February 18, 2026, high-ranking police officials and the Industrial Standards Office director conducted a coordinated raid on a secret warehouse in Sri Racha, Chonburi Province. The operation targeted an illegal tire manipulation scheme where old tires were being modified to appear new by erasing and re-stamping production dates. Investigators discovered four different storage locations, seizing 2,000 tires with forged markings and falsified production dates, along with metal number plates used for counterfeiting. The total value of seized goods reached 10 million baht. The warehouse owners were charged with unauthorized industrial product manufacturing and officials plan to expand the investigation to uncover the full criminal network.
