Motorcycle Theft Gang Strikes Heavily: 3 Bikes Stolen in One Night, Nearly 20 Bikes Missing in 2 Months

A motorcycle theft gang is causing significant disruption in Ubon Ratchathani, stealing 3 motorcycles in one night from dormitories. On February 5th, police received reports from three victims who had their motorcycles stolen from different dormitory areas. The first victim, Ms. Phonvalai, 22, reported a black Honda Wave motorcycle stolen from in front of her room in Chayangkun Soi 12. Two other victims, Ms. Bussaya Kulrat and Mr. Kriangkrai Wijitchan, also reported similar motorcycle thefts from nearby dormitories. Police investigators have been ordered to review CCTV footage and track down the suspects. Investigations reveal that nearly 20 motorcycles have been stolen from dormitories in the Ubon Ratchathani area since December, with no arrests made so far.
