Tawee Rallies Yaha Residents, Pledges Land Rights and Addressing Forest Encroachment

On February 5, 2026, Pol. Col. Tawee Sodsong, leader of the Prachanart Party and former Minister of Justice, rallied in Yaha District, Yala Province to support parliamentary candidates Suliman Beanapinae (District 1, Candidate #3) and Sugano Mata (District 2, Candidate #7) before a crowd of over 6,000 people. Tawee emphasized that while Prachanart is a mid-sized party, it has a large heart for solving people's problems. He highlighted the urgent land use and housing issues caused by government forest zone declarations, noting that out of over 1 million rai of forest area in Yala, only 400,000 rai are actual forest, with the rest being residential and agricultural land.
