Thai National Team Wins Silver in Asian Paragliding Accuracy Championship

The Aeronautical Sports Association of Thailand hosted the 5th FAI Asian Paragliding Accuracy Championship at the temporary air sports field in Sangkhom District, Nong Khai Province from February 7-15, 2024. The Thai paragliding team achieved outstanding results, winning a silver medal in the women's individual category with Wing Commander Nanthapat Puchong. In the individual women's category with 10 participating countries, the gold medal went to Xiangyan Kong from China, and the bronze medal to Eunyoung Cho from South Korea. The Thai team also won a bronze medal in the team category, which included team members from various military and service branches, competing against teams from 12 Asian countries. The team gold was claimed by China, with Indonesia taking silver.
