On February 20th, Ban Bang Wa School in Phang Nga announced a temporary suspension of classes due to an abnormal situation in Moo 9, Kura Subdistrict. At approximately 7:30 AM, a shooting incident occurred in Soi Tha Chao Nam 1 near the school, resulting in a fatality. The school cited concerns for the safety of students, teachers, and educational personnel, noting that the perpetrator remains at large. The school will be closed from 10:30 AM onwards, with plans to reopen on Monday, February 23rd if conditions return to normal.
