Grave Invasion: Notorious Mortician's Cemetery Excavated, Infant Remains Exhumed and Returned to Families
Doctor Pla, along with attorneys and victims, invaded the cemetery of a notorious mortician in Ang Thong, exhuming infant remains for investigation before returning them to families. The local monastery abbot and local authorities claim they were unaware of the cemetery's existence because no complaints were filed, and are preparing to completely dismantle the site. The case involves allegations against a famous mortician from Ang Thong province who was known for performing ritual water blessings and allegedly committed sexual abuse. This mortician was notorious for separating deceased mothers and infants according to local beliefs, burying the remains near a rescue center that eventually became a cemetery. The mortician's wife stated they never intentionally kept the infant remains and would willingly return them to families. The abbot agreed to allow exhumation and plans to clear the entire site. Local authorities admitted they were unaware of the cemetery's existence due to lack of previous complaints. Rescue foundation workers exhumed two sets of infant remains, which were wrapped in white cloth and presented to the abbot. The abbot then handed the remains to the families for religious ceremonies. Doctor Pla revealed that multiple victims and mothers have contacted him wanting to retrieve their relatives' remains.
