Viral Video: Three Men Fight in Temple, Man in Green Shirt Delivers Knockout Punch

A viral video showing three men fighting inside a temple in Lahanthai District, Buriram Province has garnered 2.3 million views. Two men attempted to attack one man, but he countered with a powerful right punch that knocked one of his attackers down, becoming an instant sensation on social media. Many viewers questioned whether the man had boxing training, commenting on how cleanly he executed the punch. Temple monks investigating the incident revealed that the fight occurred on April 25 following a funeral ceremony. All three men were friends who had been drinking together and were intoxicated. They had been arguing over a motorcycle that had been borrowed, with no one remembering who took it, which eventually escalated into the physical altercation. According to another temple monk, the incident took place near the bell tower. The three men—identified as small and large (twin brothers nicknamed Lek and Yai) and another man named Chiao wearing a green shirt—were regular drinking companions who occasionally quarreled, though this time the fight was more serious than usual. After the video circulated on social media, Police Major Manutsavuthee Bunyang, commander of Lahanthai Police Station, dispatched officers to investigate but could not locate either party involved. Police were unable to take action as no formal complaint has been filed.
