Villagers Shocked: Three Massive King Cobras Caught Fighting, Rescue Team Called to Separate Them

Locals were alarmed by three large king cobras, with two fighting in a grassy area behind a building in Betong Municipality. On February 9, 2024, Yothin Prachamitrat, head of the Betong Muslim Rescue Team in Yala Province, received a report about the snakes and went to investigate. Upon arrival, they found two massive king cobras locked in combat, while a third and smaller snake had already slithered away into a rubber plantation. The rescue team separated the two fighting snakes. Measurements revealed the first snake was 3.81 meters long, weighing approximately 7.1 kilograms, while the second was 3.74 meters long and weighed about 6.6 kilograms. Both had body injuries and were placed in sacks to be released back into the natural forest.
