TU Achieves Sales Over 132 Billion Baht in 2024, Sets 4% Growth Target

Thai Union Group (TU) reported its 2024 financial performance with total sales of 132,719 million baht and sales volume of 908,436 tons, a 2.5% increase from the previous year. The growth was primarily driven by processed seafood, frozen seafood, and pet food product lines. The company achieved a record gross profit margin of 18.9%, reflecting efficient management and quick adaptation. Operating profit, excluding transformation costs, reached 6,998 million baht. The company has set a growth target of 3-4% for 2025, expecting a gross profit margin of 19-20%. Thai Union also announced a half-year dividend of 0.35 baht per share, bringing the total annual dividend to 0.70 baht per share, a 6% increase from the previous year. CEO Thiraphong Chansiri highlighted the company's ability to maintain strong performance despite external challenges such as import taxes and exchange rate pressures.
