Punrawee Ruenrot, nicknamed 'Fiew', is a Thai national boxer with two SEA Games gold medals and a silver from the 2025 World Boxing Championship. She demonstrated her exceptional skills by becoming the only Thai boxer to advance to the final of the Boxam International Tournament 2026 in Lanucier, Valencia, Spain. Defeating Canadian boxer Maryal Ahmed with a unanimous 5-0 decision in the 57kg women's category, Punrawee secured her place in the gold medal match. While three other Thai boxers were eliminated in the semi-finals and received bronze medals, Punrawee will compete against Gabriela Villaim from the Netherlands for the gold medal on February 7th. The tournament features boxers from 21 countries, with a total of 214 participants (124 men and 90 women), representing a high-standard international boxing competition.
