250,000 Protesters 'Rise Against Iranian Government' as Exiled Prince Calls for Global Pressure
Over 250,000 protesters gathered in Munich, Germany on Saturday, February 14th during the annual Munich Security Conference. The demonstration, part of what Prince Reza Pahlavi called a 'global day of action', aimed to support Iranian citizens and demand international pressure to change the Iranian government. German police noted that the number of protesters exceeded expectations, with crowds chanting 'Change, change, change the regime' and waving pre-Islamic Revolution flags featuring a lion and sun emblem. Prince Reza Pahlavi warned that more deaths could occur in Iran if democratic countries remain passive, stating, 'We are gathering at an extremely dangerous time to ask if the world will stand with the Iranian people.' Similar demonstrations were also held in Los Angeles and Toronto, with Toronto police reporting around 350,000 protesters, some wearing red caps reading 'Make Iran Great Again'.
